On a vineyard area of 4,000 hectares, a "Spanish wine wonder" occurred in the last 15 years: from modest basics, dense and concentrated red wines of deep dark colour were vinified, which in the meantime are among the best wines within and outside Spain.
The top-quality wines have their basis fundamentally in the autochthonous red Tinta de Toro grape variety (prototype of Tempranillo).
Wines from Bodega Vega Sauco offer an excellent value-for-money ratio.
